Motivation: As a teacher, it is my job not only to educate my students, but also to encourage them to become interested in what they are learning. Some ways I plan on motivating my students include:
Explaining how the content will be useful.
Discuss long-term/real life benefits of each lesson.
Display true enthusiasm for the subject.
Present the content in an interesting/interactive manner.
Providing immediate and detailed feedback on assignments.
Using up-to-date technology in the classroom to better explore the subject matter.
Most importantly, getting to know my students' interests so I can not only get to know them better, but also use incorporate their interests into my lessons.
